Five things that you need to know if you are going to work as an empath.

If you're going to work as an empath there are five things that you need to know. I have worked as a professional psychic with many gifts for the past 18 years. I my gifts blend it with coaching. I had to learn a lot of hard lessons along the way.During the past 18 years I have also worked and helped a lot of other clients who had psychic gifts. The majority of them were empaths. They were often overwhelmed with what they were feeling. They did not know how to differentiate their thoughts and feelings from other people. They were often introverted in order to protect themselves.

The five things that I have listed are the most important to focus on if you're going to work as an empath. Your survival comes first. I know often as psychics especially empaths there is this overwhelming belief that their job is to sacrifice themselves and help as many people as possible. The end result is that the empath is often depressed, drained, and can no longer do their work.

Five steps to prevent burnout

1.You have to constantly do your inner work. In order to be a good empath you have to be willing to honor your own need to heal. Often as an empath we forget about ourselves and try to help others heal. Remember what you don't heal you will have to face when working with clients. The more you heal the more clients you can help and not be drained. There's no shame in needing to be healed even while working as an empath healer. We learn and grow everyday.

2. You must have energetic boundaries with your clients. Notice that I said energetic boundaries. You cannot read for another unless you can tell the difference between your issues and their issues. Have a practice or some type of ritual that you use so that you can keep the clients energy separate from yours. It is easy to end up overlapping energies as an empath.

3. You must rest. As an empath it is important to rest so that you can recharge your energy. Empaths are subject to having health issues. Every person needs rest. Empaths must take rest serious are they will find themselves having glandular issues and emotional issues. Note I'm not saying this as a medical professional. I am making this statement based on myself and interactions with other empaths.

4. It is not your job to save the world. Do not fool yourself.I repeat. It is not your job to save the world. Healers naturally feel like they have to go out and help as many people as possible or else they are not a good person. Empaths and other healers feel like they're not honoring their gifts if they're not out there constantly helping people in need. People will always come to you in need. You have to learn how to say no. It's not about being unkind. Saying no is an energetic boundary. It is hard to say no but you have to. You have to know when to take care of yourself. your human first

5.. You need to feel comfortable charging for your services. One thing that I hear constantly from people in the spiritual world is that they struggle with charging for their services. They feel guilty charging for their services. They feel like they've been given a gift and that they should not charge for it. Unfortunately there are people who would take advantage and tell people who have gifts that they are wrong to charge. The truth is that money is energy. Everyone has the right to charge for their services. As an empath or as any healing professional you cannot survive without charging for your services. Otherwise you would never get to do your work is often as you like because she will have to take on a job that you do not like. Do your work when it comes to money blocks so that you feel comfortable charging for your services. Again you're not here to save the world. Honor Yourself by charging for your services.

Being an empath is a wonderful gift. It does have to be understood and honored. The lesson is to put yourself first. Know that you can be healthy and do your work.
